Ne Zha: Birth of the Demon Child
Based on Chinese mythology, the film reimagines the legend of Ne Zha. The primordial pearl is split into a Spirit Pearl and a Demon Pill – Ne Zha is destined to inherit the Spirit Pearl but is instead born as the Demon Child. Feared by his village and bound by a heavenly curse, Ne Zha defies his fate with the help of his parents, ultimately declaring "I am the master of my own destiny!" in a climactic battle against Ao Bing, the true heir of the Spirit Pearl.
Ne Zha: The Devil Child Churns the Sea
After their bodies are destroyed by heavenly lightning, Ne Zha and Ao Bing's souls are preserved by Taiyi Zhenren using the Seven-Colored Sacred Lotus. Facing sabotage from Shen Gongbao and the Four Sea Dragon Kings, they uncover a conspiracy led by Immortal Wuliang. Together, they defy fate and confront the clash between power and familial bonds, embodying the spirit of "I am the master of my own destiny!"
