戴里克·伯格
A teenager from the City of Silver in the 'Forsaken Land of Gods', standing over two meters tall. Innocent, kind, sincere, passionate, and optimistic with a strong sense of justice, though shy and introverted with poor social skills. Initially suffered from inferiority complex for being shorter than peers. At story's beginning, forced by the ancient curse of the City of Silver to end his parents' lives, he prayed to the 'Omniscient and Omnipotent God' through a family heirloom crystal ball, catching Klein's attention and being drawn into the gray fog to join the 'Tarot Club'. Chose the 'Sun' pathway to become the 'sun' that would save his people from eternal darkness. Possesses extensive mystical knowledge but often taken advantage of in Tarot Club due to his naive nature. After the battle at 'Giant King's Court' against the 'Fallen Angel Wraith', he was promoted to the City of Silver's 'Six-Member Council'. From Volume 7, manages the 'Fool's Church', 'Sea God Church', New City of Silver, and New Moon City under the Fool's oracle. In 'Circle of Destiny', serves as Pope of the Fool's Church, protecting believers in the Rosedale Archipelago.

Lord of the Mysteries
Lord of the Mysteries is a Chinese web novel by “Cuttlefish That Loves Diving,” blending steampunk, Lovecraftian horror, and xianxia elements. The protagonist, Zhou Mingrui, inexplicably awakens in the body of Klein Moretti, a university graduate in a world resembling the Victorian era. In this world of steam engines and occult secret societies, Klein joins the Nighthawks (a clandestine order) and gains access to the “Gray Fog,” enabling communication with other paranormal “Beyonders”. Posing as the figure “Mr. Fool,” Klein organizes a secret Tarot Club alongside Audrey Hall, Alger Wilson, Derrick Berg and others, using it to investigate supernatural mysteries. The official press blurb captures the tone: “Through the storm of steam and machinery… I found myself in a world of guns, cannons, giant ships, airships… potions, divination, curses, hanged men… This is the legend of the Fool”.
